Semihandmade x BACKDROP

OPPORTUNITY:

Semihandmade sells customizable, paintable cabinet doors in a variety of silhouettes. Designers and homeowners have used their own unique personal style, creativity and ingenuity to create some of the most inspiring and resourcefully-designed spaces30,000 projects and counting. Semihandmade wanted to expand add-on product categories to help folks imagine and seamlessly shop for their uniquely finished spaces all at once. BACKDROP Paint collaborated with Semihandmade to provide customers with a chicly edited palette of cabinet paint colors for modern-inspired spaces.

VISUAL STRATEGY:

With a mulit-channel marketing campaign, Semihandmade launched the BACKDROP Paint partnership with collaborative instagram and tiktok content, an animated email newsletter to the full-file audience, a blog piece and PR in Architectural Digest and Remodelista. On semihandmade.com we developed a comprehensive shopping experience and integrated the cabinet paint offering at all points of the shopping experience where paintable product was offered. I wanted our deliverables to be playful, fun and full of delight with a happy color palette and cheerful animations to interest our audience in learning more.
